We can accommodate most special food needs; please let us know about them in your application. We can support campers who are vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free; campers with allergies to nuts, fish, dairy, eggs, and gluten; campers with celiac disease; and a host of other dietary needs. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate campers with airborne food allergies. At every meal, we offer equivalent alternatives: for example, when lunch includes grilled cheese and tomato soup, alternative options include gluten-free, vegan, and gluten-free-and-vegan grilled cheese, as well as vegan soup.

In order to share special food considerations with us, please refer to the Food Form, accessible via your CampInTouch account. It is important for us to distinguish between allergies, dietary regiments, and preferences so our kitchen can prepare appropriate options. Please fill this out with as much specificity as possible.

We offer many different options at each meal, including a salad bar with raw vegetables, tofu, hard boiled eggs, and other single ingredients for campers to put together their own choice meal. We also serve plain pasta with a side of marinara sauce at lunch and dinner. While we help picky eaters find something to eat at each meal, we cannot provide individualized meals beyond these options. If you are concerned about your child's ability to eat at camp, please reach out to our camper care team at campercare@edenvillagecamp.org.
